Positively Impacting Your Life with God’s Truths – May 2012
Hello my respectable readers. I wish you are well and at the end of this article you feel better. No matter the country you live, everywhere we see and hear is bad news.
Did you know that the Bible had already announced what is happening in the world? Look what Mateo 24:6 says. Hear of wars and rumors of wars: “see that ye be not troubled, because you need all these things, but still not the end”.7. “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in various places”. And in Matthew 10:21: “Brother will betray brother to death, and the father the child: and children shall rise up against parents and cause them to die”…
The bad news these days can become good news! Remember that there is a creator of the universe which is God. And God has not left us alone in this world. First, God became a human being in the person of Jesus. Here comes the question; so God is there more than one god?. The answer is no. There’s only one God. We must recognize that our mind is very limited compared with that of God and His power is unlimited. That means there will be many things of God that we will not find logic while on earth. That’s where faith comes in. God became man in Jesus and when Jesus died and rose again, left us His Holy Spirit. In John 17:22 Jesus is talking with the Father and reads as follows: John 17:22: “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, to be one just as We are one”.
The good news is that God has prepared a new land with new heaven with Him in this new land and there will be no more tears, no pain or disease. While we’re on this earth, the Holy Spirit comforts us, guides us and helps us. And, to be eligible to enter this new land, our name should be written in the Book of Life, which we can achieve if we recognize that Jesus is the Son of God who died for us and rose again and by His blood our sins are cleansed and erased on the memory of God and if we sincerely repent of our sins.
Everyone wants to know what there is after death. If we have decided to serve God, we expect a nice eternity with God. This has nothing to do with religion. God is not going to ask what religion we belonged to. He will look if our name is written in the Book of Life.
It is important to read the Bible to see if we are serving God properly, since there is a ‘fallen angel’ who wants to prevent you to serve God properly. All churches should be guided strictly by the Bible. Those are the churches where we should go to grow spiritually.
When we hear bad news, if we have already taken the step to get our name in the Book of Life, do not worry. Look what God says in Luke 21, 27-28 .. 27 “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28, “When these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near”. It means that we must stay calm and confident because we know that we expect the best life possible with God.
When you do not understand something about God, ask Him to give you His wisdom and gradually you will understand better. As He says in James 1:5: “And if any of you lack wisdom, ask God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given”. Remember you are not alone. For God, there isn’t an impossible problems to solve. God loves us and so want us to seek Him. When you feel that you do not resist your problems or if you need an answer in your life, turn to God.
