Positively Impacting Your Life with God’s Truths – September 2012

Regards dear readers and hoping that each article brings blessing to your lives and enable you to know God more every day. This month your life will receive a good advise that will impact your life positively. I’m sure that you know your name and know what your daily activities are. You know weather you decide to stay home or if you decide to go to your job or to the market, for example. But do you know where your spiritual life is going?. If you are living the same routine every day, thinking only of your daily commitments, you must evaluate your route. We should be aware that the cares of daily life prevent us not get quality time with God and studying His Word, in addition to meeting a church which should be guided by the Bible.

Consider the Parable of the sower. Marcos 4: 16-19 “These are they likewise which are sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness”.  “They have no root in themselves, but they are short-lived, because when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, then they stumble”. “These are the ones sown among thorns, hear the word, but the worries of this life, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, making it unfruitful”. (I recommend reading the full Mark chapter 4). We must include first goal in our life, our relationship with God. So we understand that we must give our hearts to Jesus and He will make us realize what is the correct  way to a beautiful and eternal life with God. Just read the following nice story of reflection”.

“Albert Einstein was on a train to a commitment out of town where he lived. The driver stopped to punch his ticket. Einstein, the great scientist, was so busy with his work that he could not find his ticket in his coat or bag. The driver said, “We all know who you are, Dr. Einstein I’m sure you bought a ticket. Do not worry about it. It’s All right.” and followed the other passengers to punch tickets. Before going to the next train car, he looked back and saw Dr. Einstein on his knees looking under his seat trying to find his ticket. The driver returned and softly said, “Dr. Einstein, please not worry about the ticket. I know who you are.” Looking up looked at the driver Dr. Einstein said, “I also know who I am. I just do not know where I’m going!” — Interesting!

If you still do not know where your life is headed, give an opportunity to Jesus and He will give direction and meaning to your life. Just ask Him. There is no point making treasures on earth and take care only of the earthly, if we are not laying up treasures in heaven and if we have not given our hearts to Jesus, and if we are not growing in our relationship with God. Mateo 6:19-21 says; “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart is.”

Dear reader, you knew who you were and where you were today, but impacts your life walking toward that wonderful and eternal life with God. May the love of God fill your lives and your families and receive many blessings. Until next time.
