Positively Impacting Your Life to God’s Truths – July 2012
Matthew 11:28. Come unto me all ye that labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
29. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls;30. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
My dear readers. A greeting filled with the love of God and hoping that each new message is a blessing to your lives. I want to impact your life meditating on the verses of Matthew 11:28-29.
Who is speaking in these verses is Jesus. Our Savior. He is ‘inviting’ us to get closer to Him when we feel powerless, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. When we feel that we have no strength to continue with our daily routine or with any problem in our lives. He will take control of everything and we will receive peace in our souls. But the requirement to feel peace is to come to Jesus in faith. Then, He will do the rest. But, if we’re still feeling anxious after we pray to Jesus and after we tell Him our problem or situation is because we took back our problems.
The truth of God that will impact your life is that we will always have problems and afflictions in the world, as it says in John 16:33: “These things I have spoken to that in me ye might have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take heart I have overcome the world. ” But these afflictions can be easy to carry or can be a very hard burden to bear. It all depends on our attitude towards this affliction or problems. If delivered them to Jesus in faith and we believe that in His time He will give us a solution, we will continue our lives with the peace of God which passes all understanding. So in verses 29 and 30 it says that the burden will be light, but only if we ‘trust’ Jesus in meekness and humility. And for peace to be complete, we must not cease to love and praise God in every affliction and in our daily lives. If you do that, not only your life will be ‘impacted’, but also the people around you will be impacted by the truth of God while seeing your attitude. Jesus says in Mark 5:36 “Be not afraid, only believe” ….Many blessings my dear readers and receive the peace of God.
