Impacting Your Life with God’s Truths – February 2013

Genesis 6: 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6:6 And the LORD repented that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy the men from the face of the earth whom I have created from man and beast, and the creeping thing and birds of the air, for I regret having made them. 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Regards and God’s peace to all readers. Verses Genesis 6: 5-8. They speak of the evil that was in the days of Noah. It is no coincidence that we see in our times too much evil on earth. Noah stood firm and faithful in his relationship with God. He did not played along with other human beings. When Noah warned that there would be great flood no one pay attention to him. And perhaps many mocked Noah before, thinking he was boring, or that he was a fool for the life of commitment and obedience to God that he was living.

Today some people also regard as crazy, boring or outdated those who have decided to give his/her heart to Jesus and live in obedience to God’s Word. Accepting that we will never be perfect but recognizing that God’s Holy Spirit will help us improve every day. Living for God is not easy. And to live it our way, is not easy neither. But with God we are not alone and we will learn how to give Him first place in our lives.

Lucas 17: 26 As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 17:27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

When Jesus will come it will be as the days of Noah, there will be so much evil as now. Is not bad to eat or marry. The Bible talks about getting drunk and many other sins. But the message is to recognize that what we are living today is not a fable or a fiction story. This is the time when we must decide whether we will surrender our lives to Jesus, so when He comes, we can find grace before Him as Noah did, or if we will ignore all warnings of God through every crisis in the world and run out of eternal life with God. We should not question God because there are so much tragedy in the world. We should take time to know God and recognize that He deserves our obedience and first place in our hearts. By faith, to honor Him,  recognizing that He is God. As it says in Psalm 103:3 “Know that the LORD is God, He made us, and not ourselves, we are His people and the sheep of his pasture. When we take that step in our hearts to humble ourselves before God and recognize that without Him we are nothing, we will begin to live new experiences with God and we will know and love Him more every day. We will begin to fight so that no one takes our crown that God has for us in heaven. Dear reader, God loves us. That’s why He gave us His Word. To learn His will. Until next month and may God continue to give us wisdom. God bless you.
