Allow Jesus to clean your temple
Positively Impacting Your Life with God’s Truths
Blessings to you and your family dear reader. Just as we clean our homes, our clothes, cars and much more, God wants us to clean up inside. Sometimes we worry too much about our outer beauty and forget that beauty is fleeting. Our interior should be clean of feelings of sadness, anger or impure desires. It must be clean of all that is not pleasing to God.
When we accept Jesus into our lives, our body becomes a temple of the Holly Spirit. God is pure, and so we must look in what areas of our lives need to be eliminated or should be cleaned. God will clean us gladly, but it’s up to us to tell God we want to be clean and we want to be new creatures in Jesus. Thus our relationship with God will grow every day. Look at what Jesus did once in:
Mark 11:15; And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves. And would not allow anyone through the temple carrying any utensil. And he taught, saying; It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations? But ye have made it a den of thieves.
We can go to psychologists or psychiatrists. Therapies are good to help us see things differently and to let off steam. The pills can help us forget for a while negative situations. But only Jesus clean and heal our hearts and our minds. As Jesus commanded to remove the merchants from the temple, He also wants out of your life all that harms us. That’s a beautiful and shocking truth about God’s love for us. Don’t forget to let God clean your temple. Until next time, and do not forget to love and worship God. Always remember that Jesus loves you.
