The truth shall set you free
Positively Impacting Your Life with God’s Truths-August 2015
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Blessings appreciated reader. I’ll be talking about the Truth. Nobody likes to be deceived. And much less if it’s going to affect our present life and our spiritual life. God in His love for us, let the Bible for us to know what His wills are. Some of the commands and desires of God go against some modern beliefs. That’s why is so important to read and study the Bible so we can decide if we will obey God or the world. In this case the world means everything that goes against the will of God and that is sin. It takes courage to choose to serve and to obey God but the result will be blessing and eternal life.”
If we decide to follow the beliefs of the world but are not approved by God, we may be happy and feel peace, temporarily. But we have a sad eternal end. In addition, when we obey God, He fills us with His peace that passes all understanding, without no matter what the circumstances of our lives are.
Some of the most controversial truths that God says in the Bible are found in the following verses: 1 Corinthians 6: 9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10. nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Jesus gave His life for our sins. If we decide to serve and to obey God, we will have eternal life and our sins will be forgiven. If we decide to live our way and the way the world consider more modern we would not be part of the Kingdom of God. The good news is that God is available now, and always to forgive your sins if you repent from your heart and decide to serve Him. God only wants the best for us. I ask His Holy Spirit to help you make the best decision for your life and I want the peace of God to be with you and your loved ones.
