Positively Impacting Your Life with God’s Truths – January 2013

Why so many deaths and tragedies?

When we do not understand the things that happen to us or things that happen in the world, God gives us hope and gives us answers in His Word. God knows that humans are fragile. Psalm 34:18: The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit… – Jeremiah 29:11-12  For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen. -God has good thoughts for us but He tells us in His Word that while we are on this earth we are in a spiritual war.

Ephesians 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. That is why we must study the Word of God and we must have an individual relationship with God. To understand what is happening in the world and know the spiritual weapons that we can use and how God can help us in the midst of crisis. –John 16:33: These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.

1 Corinthians 13:12: Now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I met. We’re in a war without truce, but Jesus had the victory in the cross…

Pray for one another and for the needy and afflicted, so they can receive the peace of God. We should request God to give us wisdom. Let us be humble before Him, recognizing that without Him we are nothing and can do nothing, and He will help and guide us through so much bad news. It is an impacting true to know that we are not alone… God is with us. Receive God’s peace and until next time, my dear readers.
