Positively Impacting Your Life With God’s Truths – March 2012

A cordial and respectful greetings to all readers of this newspaper. It is a great pleasure to introduce myself to the Latino population and non Latino population honoring me with reading this newspaper.

My pseudonym is Nory. Born in Puerto Rico 49 years ago. I currently live in the Bronx, NY. I started 12 years ago to serve and know God more. I believe in humility and respect for all human beings in the universe, without exception of persons and so it will be the style of this column.

As I belong to the Latino race, I encourage all of you to continue putting the name of Latinos in high wherever you are. We are living in difficult and complicated times and God has given me the opportunity to reach a wonderful group of readers through this section.

I’ll be writing about topics related to God and His truths and how our lives and the world today can be impacted. I will use the Bible as a backup. I will be also mentioning or writing verses or chapters of the Bible where people can read and find support and strength for different life situations.

The purpose of this column is not to create controversy but rather the opposite. The purpose is to answer questions and discuss issues that can concern us all. Some issues-we are concerned because we see everything that is happening in the world. Some people have doubts or unanswered questions because they have no one to ask or do not dare to ask or simply because they have not taken the time to investigate.

This column will not mention specific religions, denominations or specific ideologies, always maintaining a respect for the ideals of each reader. The goal is to plant a positive seed in the life of every reader, in 1 Timothy 6:12 begins by saying “Fight the good fight of faith”. That means that in order to have a life with true meaning in this world and receive the peace of God you have to “fight” for it. Must be sought. If we know the truths of God and learn to live in obedience to Him, we will receive His peace even in difficult times. As it says in Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ”.

I hope you take a look at this column in the next edition of the CNY Latino newspaper where I’ll write the first article to impact your lives with G
